A glutton for buttons

I need some buttons for my current sewing project, so I popped into A Rubanesque on my lunch hour. They have a small collection of buttons, which included just what I wanted. Black and white cheques buttons, in two sizes. They were a little on the expensive side, but the pattern needs what could be called 'feature' buttons, and these are very lovely.
