If you can't stand the heat ... get into the kitchen
Ireland has been enjoying a heat wave over the last week, but yesterday instead of lying out in the sun I was cooking up a storm in the kitchen. I'd been given a large quantity of raspberries (both fresh and frozen) so I consulted my large selection of recipes books.
I'm a big fan of Celebrity Masterchef, and treated myself to Michel Roux Jr's Cooking with the Master Chef last year. When I saw he had a recipe for a Classic Raspberry tart I knew what I would be making.
The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the result is delicious. I also had enough pastry left over to knock up some jam tarts for tea.
Just a short post today, as there is a cup of tea and a slice of tart waiting for me ...

I think I should follow brother No.3's example and put in a baking request when I'm home next.
